Dosing, Irrigation, and Crop Steering, from One Controller

Nuravine Aurora II all-in-one dosing and irrigation controller, front view

The Aurora II is the all-in-one controller that combines the dosing intelligence of the Aurora with the valve automation of the Flux in a single unit. One controller runs inline, batch, and recirculating dosing, full irrigation, and crop steering, all from one 24V / 10A power supply.

One controller. Complete control.

One box, less wiring, and one place to see and control everything. Enter a recipe straight from your feed chart and the Aurora II does the math, then drives your pumps and valves and tracks every reading. With over-the-air updates, it keeps gaining features and works with every future Nuravine module.

Built for the way you grow

Dose with precision, up to 18 pumps.

Nuravine Aurora II controller, three-quarter view

The Aurora II has six Elixir expansion ports, and each port drives one Elixir II and its three peristaltic pumps, for up to 18 dosing pumps in total. Run pH Up, pH Down, and any combination and ratio of nutrients, or fit an Elixir Max on a port for a single large pump. Its dosing algorithm breaks each dose into smaller segments for uniform distribution, and intelligent safety mechanisms stop dosing the moment they detect an empty container or a disconnected sensor.

Run the whole irrigation system.

Nuravine Aurora II valve output and sensor input terminal blocks

Twenty valve outputs at 24V DC, four more than the Flux, drive solenoids, ball valves, pumps, and relays for fills, drains, and zone control, all powered from the same single supply. Read standard flow meters in GPM, add 4-20 mA sensors for level, pressure, and flow, and integrate more devices over RS485 Modbus. Two 8-point level-sensor inputs handle float switches and leak detection.

Steer your crop.

Shape vegetative and generative growth through irrigation strategy. With soil and substrate monitoring and precise control over every irrigation event, the Aurora II is built for crop steering, not just keeping a reservoir on target.

Lab-grade sensing, cloud intelligence.

Continuous, laboratory-grade readings of pH, EC, dissolved oxygen, ORP, and temperature drive every dosing decision automatically. Watch it all live on the high-contrast capacitive touchscreen, or from anywhere on the Nuravine Cloud: visualize trends, track nutrient use, and dial in yields.

Stop stitching your grow together

One vendor's doser, another's irrigation timer, a third's sensors. More boxes mean more wiring, more points of failure, and no single source of truth.

One system, with your name on it

The controller is the crop's life support. When it doses wrong or a valve hangs, you don't lose a setting, you lose a harvest, and if you sold that farm, you lose the customer too.

The Aurora II puts dosing, irrigation, and crop steering on one platform built by Nuravine, designed with input from hundreds of growers, and improved with over-the-air updates. We have recovered farms left stranded when other vendors' systems went dark. Getting this one part right is the difference between a system that runs itself and one that fails when you need it most.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Aurora II?

The Aurora II is an all-in-one nutrient dosing and valve controller. A single unit drives up to 18 peristaltic dosing pumps and up to 20 solenoid valves at 24V DC, with continuous pH, EC, DO, ORP, and temperature readings automatically driving its dosing.

What dosing methods does the Aurora II support?

All three: inline, batch, and recirculating dosing. One controller covers every method, and you can mix them across zones. See our inline dosing page for how continuous inline feeding works.

How is the Aurora II different from the original Aurora?

It combines the dosing brain of the Aurora with the valve automation of the Flux in one unit, so a single controller runs both your dosing and your full irrigation system, with more valve outputs (20 versus the Flux's 16) and crop-steering capability.

How many dosing pumps and valves does it support?

The Aurora II has 6 Elixir expansion ports, and each port drives one Elixir II's 3 peristaltic pumps, for up to 18 dosing pumps in total, plus up to 20 solenoid valves at 24V DC across five valve-output blocks.

Do I need an Elixir to dose?

Yes. The Aurora II requires at least one Elixir II or Elixir Max, which plug into its expansion ports and deliver the actual nutrient. One Aurora II drives up to six Elixir modules: six Elixir IIs give you 18 pumps, or an Elixir Max per port for single large pumps.

Does the Aurora II do crop steering?

Yes. With soil and substrate monitoring and precise per-event irrigation control, it is built to steer vegetative and generative growth, not just hold a reservoir on target.

What sensors does it work with?

Nuravine's lab-grade pH, EC, DO, ORP, and temperature water sensors, plus four 4-20 mA industrial inputs (flow, pressure, level) and RS485 Modbus for supported third-party sensors.

Can I monitor and control it remotely?

Yes. The Aurora II connects over 2.4 GHz WiFi to the Nuravine Cloud, so you can watch live readings, edit rules, and run scheduled dosing from anywhere.
